@Dado: haha! Probably another of Kip’s retired shirts (okay, not “probably”, it is.) Yes, this storyboard style of comicking makes uploading pages one at a time kind of sad. But it will pick up.
@Jayswash: Thank you! Coloring is one part I really look forward to when planning pages. It’s kind of like the thing that breathes life into them.
@anna: Sweet! Glad to see you on here! Yeah, when I draw rooms I’m influenced by our house, for sure : ). Stuff I draw is normally based on things I’ve seen in real life, but I change or tweak them to make them appropriate and unique to the given world.
Hey! Vote for me! (on the side!)
Yes, I must say that the color is one of the things I really admire about this comic. Not many webcomic artists are willing or capable of coloring their pages, so artists that actually do color have something unique to their comic.
The first comic I actually encountered that had color pages was “HamstaPowah: Legend of the Rod”. It’s a webcomic with not too many fans and an… unstable artist/writer. But it’s really cool. The only times ZaronX doesn’t color his pages is when it’s a flashback, and even then some things are still colored.
I could link if you want, but I don’t want to advertise without permission. It’s sort of furry, though, but there’s an explanation in the story/world of the comic for the furry. It was only recently revealed, but there was apparently a “fall of man” thing in the history of the world, which was once earth. The world is now populated by furries based on hamsters, mice, rats, squirrels, and two rabbit furries have made brief appearances (one was just a cameo, the other is an important character). Humans are still around, but only one has appeared so far (a map hints there’s a “human settlement” somewhere). Apparently the “rise of rodents” was an “accident” brought on by genetic experiments done by humans. The comic combines a lot of western cartoon and Japanese anime elements.
omg, nat’s so cute in that shirt. can’t wait for the next update!:D
I just love the coloring job you do with the comic.
