This reminds me of the Magic School Bus books, how at the end they’d always have a page going, “um, buses can’t actually shrink or whatever, but electrons really do flow the way we said they did!”
I love the Magic School Bus. So much. In fact, I recall considering it once when I was working on some of this, and thinking that Kipling would think Ms. Frizzle was pretty wicked, for several reasons.
